Template: Long Cult

This is the standard format of a Hero Wars long cult description.

Note that the format provided here is for a theist cult. Long write-ups of Shamanic Traditions, Sorcerous Orders, and Mystic Schools will need to be modified slightly to take into account the information provided in their Magic Keyword format (which is part of the long cult format), especially in the section that details Membership Requirements.

Look at the samples see how it works in practice, and to see the differences between organizations of the different magic systems:

Theist Cult: Rufelza, the Red Moon Goddess
Sorcerous Church: The Church of Tomorrow (also known as the Church of the Great Futurist)

Although all of the information listed below should be included in a long cult write-up, it is not required that each individual heading be included. For example, Common Knowledge, Mythos and History, Cosmological Reason for Existence, Distribution of Worshippers, and Role in the Religion are almost never listed, instead forming the first text under each of the main section headings. Similarly, if two adjacent sections are each very short, they can be combined into a single heading with a unified title. See the various cult write-ups in Storm Tribe The Cults of Sartar for many examples of this practice.
